Industry workforce task force convened
Industry attention turns to the roofing skilled-labor shortage, and the first framing of a unified national pathway emerges.
2022
NCCER Roofing curriculum modernized
NRCA partnered with NCCER to produce the second edition of NCCER's Roofing Level I & Level II - bilingual delivery, aligned with USDOL Registered Apprenticeship standards.
2024
Texas Apprenticeship program launched with ABC
KPost President Steve Little and National Roofing Partners (NRP) CRO Tony Rader launch a Texas Apprenticeship program with ABC - both state and DOL approved.
February 2026
NRAP incorporated as 501(c)(3)
NRAP incorporated in Florida as a nonprofit corporation on February 19, 2026. IRS 501(c)(3) determination followed in August 2026, effective from the date of incorporation.
April 2026
NRAP begins studying the Advanced Roofing program
NRAP meets with Advanced Roofing to study the state and DOL registered apprenticeship it has run since 2017, as the model for a replicable national design.
2026 Ongoing
Georgia and Ohio pilot programs begin
Board of Directors expands to include roofing leaders in contracting, education and associations.
